Position Title: AQUACULTURE NUTRITIONIST
📍 Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
🧪 Department: R&D – Aqua Nutrition
📊 Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer

🔬 Role Overview:
Elmentoz Research is looking for a technically sound and innovation-driven Aquaculture Nutritionist 🎣 to lead advanced strategies for the future of aquaculture. 🌱🐟

🎯 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Formulation Leadership: Develop precise, high-performance diets for salmon, shrimp, and tilapia based on species-specific nutritional needs.
✅ Ingredient Analysis: Evaluate conventional and alternative proteins for digestibility, interactions, and bioavailability.
✅ Functional Feed Design: Incorporate immune enhancers, gut modulators, enzymes, and peptides for performance and health.
✅ Trial Execution: Lead in-vitro/in-vivo trials; analyze biological data to fine-tune formulations.
✅ Tech Translation: Scale lab formulations into commercial-ready feeds in collaboration with R&D and production teams.
✅ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all international & domestic feed regulations.
✅ Knowledge Integration: Stay on top of the latest in feed science, sustainability & disease control; mentor internal teams and external partners.

🧑‍🎓 Candidate Profile:
🎓 Master’s or PhD in Aquaculture Nutrition, Animal Nutrition, Fish Physiology, or related Life Sciences.
🧠 8-9 years of experience in aquafeed R&D or commercial feed formulation.
📈 Deep understanding of nutrient requirements, FCR, and gut microbiome dynamics.
💻 Proficient in feed formulation tools (e.g., Brill, Format, BestMix).
🧪 Skilled in functional feed formulation and raw material validation.
🦠 Familiar with aquatic disease management and mitigation planning.
🤝 Experience collaborating with feed manufacturers, hatcheries, or research institutes.

💡 Preferred Advantages:
📚 Published research in aquaculture nutrition or feed science.
🌊 Experience with sustainable raw materials (e.g., algae, fermentation-based ingredients).
🚀 Proven record of driving innovation, IP generation, and cross-functional collaboration.
