Position: Bioinformatics Intern

We are seeking a motivated Bioinformatics Intern to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate should have completed M.Sc in Bioinformatics and have a foundational understanding of NGS and bioinformatics pipelines. This role involves both development and routine bioinformatics tasks, including automated reporting and pipeline execution.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist in the development and maintenance of bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data analysis
– Write and optimize scripts using Python and shell scripting for data processing and automation
– Support CI/CD processes for deploying and testing bioinformatics workflows
– Use Git for version control and collaborative development
– Perform routine tasks such as automated report generation, data QC, and results formatting
– Collaborate with senior bioinformaticians and data analysts on various ongoing projects
– Document processes and help improve reproducibility and transparency in pipeline execution
– Basic web development skills – familiarity with HTML, CSS, and optionally — JavaScript for building or editing automated reports is a plus.
– Interest in learning about clinical genomics, variant interpretation, and data visualization tools.
