We Are Hiring: Research Trainee / Research Associate / Research Scientist

Join Inte-e-Labs, a cutting-edge biotech company developing novel recombinant proteins using advanced microbial expression platforms. We are looking for passionate, self-driven professionals eager to contribute to translational research and process development for high-impact therapeutic and food-grade proteins.

1. Upstream Process Development

Key Responsibilities:
Scale-up fermentation for E. coli and Pichia pastoris expression systems (5L to 50L bioreactors)

Process optimization and statistical design of experiments (DOE)
Culture handling and maintenance for high-yield protein production
Data analysis, interpretation, and documentation of experimental runs
Drafting SOPs, tech transfer documents, and process reports

Preferred Skills:
Experience with shake flask to bench-scale bioreactor operations
Familiarity with fermentation kinetics and scale-up parameters
Strong analytical skills and hands-on in bioprocess instrumentation

2. Downstream Processing – 1 Position

Key Responsibilities:
Protein purification using affinity chromatography, ion exchange, and SEC
Operation of AKTA systems, HPLC, and column packing
Protein quality analysis: SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, Endotoxin assays, SEC, RP-HPLC
Troubleshooting and development of purification processes, especially for tagless proteins
Documentation and adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP)

Preferred Skills:
In-depth knowledge of protein chemistry and purification strategy design
Experience in handling untagged protein purification and process scale-up
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:
M.Sc./M.Tech/Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences or related disciplines
0–3 years of relevant research or industrial experience

Salary:
Commensurate with experience and expertise
