Job Description
I’m excited to announce an opening for a PhD student position within our collaborative project between ENS Paris and ETH Zurich, funded by SNF and ANR.
Our project, “Towards High-Throughput Drug Screening Powered by NMR of Photochemically Hyperpolarized Long-Lived States”, explores cutting-edge techniques in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), hyperpolarization (photo-CIDNP), and long-lived spin states to revolutionize fragment-based drug discovery.
🔬 The ideal candidate has a strong background in physical chemistry, chemical physics, or related fields, with an interest in:
> Hyperpolarized NMR and spin dynamics
> Biophysical techniques for drug screening
> Experimental and theoretical aspects of magnetic resonance
🧑🔬 The student will join an international, interdisciplinary team and contribute to method development and experimental validation, with opportunities to work in both Paris and Zurich.
📅 Duration: 3 years
📍 Location: ENS Paris (primary) + visits to ETH Zurich
If you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of biophysical research and want to work on innovative solutions in drug screening, please reach out or apply!
