| Skill Sets | Prior Bioinformatics knowledge in genome sequence analysis /molecular modeling/ quantum chemistry/ data sciences is desirable Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, Knowledge of Cluster Administration, Implementation of HPC Clusters, Application porting on HPC clusters, Network Security, Cluster security, Storage and Backup Management Statistical packages for computational biology, Python, Machine learning, Next generation Sequence analysis, computational chemistry Bioinformatics tools and databases, Microarray data analysis, handling next generation sequencing data for metagenomics Biology domain knowledge Machine Learning algorithms for biological data. Scripting language like Perl/Python, shell scripting and familiarity with Linux environment desirable. R statistics/ Matlab would be desirable Molecular modeling, simulations, quantum chemistry Statistical methods Proficient in C,C++, Parallel Programming in MPI/OpenMP/CUDA/OpenACC. C/C++ code debugging expertise, Profiling expertise. Core Java, Advanced Java, Database, Angular/React, Data Structure, Rest API, Hibernate/JPA Team player with a good attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills |
| Job Profile | Research analysis of Next Generation Sequence Data Analysis and Molecular modelling/ simulations/ quantum chemistry Algorithms, Software testing, Bug reporting Contribute to articles/documents/manuals etc. Contribution to group activities like Symposium/workshops etc. as per the requirement HPC system Administration, Administration of Kubernetes cluster. Application programming for Bioinformatics domain using C/C++ and MPI+OpenMP/CUDA. Person would be responsible for application development, testing, debugging, performance optimisation and scaling across HPC cluster. Software Development |
