Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Research & Development Scientist with expertise in genomics, RT-PCR, and Sanger sequencing to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing molecular assays and genomic technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize molecular assays including RT-PCR and Sanger sequencing.
• Implement and refine protocols for nucleic acid extraction, purification, and quantification.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and contribute to scientific publications and technical reports.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to innovate and develop new products and applications in genomics.
• Stay updated with advancements in genomics research and technologies, integrating new findings into R&D projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards in all research activities.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field. Candidates with a Master’s degree and relevant experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience in R&D related to genomics, RT-PCR, and Sanger sequencing techniques.
• Strong expertise in experimental design, molecular biology techniques, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with laboratory automation and high-throughput workflows is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in a biotechnology company or academic research setting focused on genomics and molecular diagnostics is preferred.

Must have: They should have experience in designing primer probe for Real Time PCR kits based on TaqMan Chemistry.
