Scientific Manager/ Principal Scientist (HPLC/LCMS/Chiral/NMR)
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Proven experience in leading a team responsible for handling HPLC/LC-MS/Prep HPLC/SFC/NMR.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Prep HPLC/LC-MS/HPLC Method Development for NCE Molecules in analytical scale.
- Should have sound knowledge of LCMS data interpretation/characterization and expertise in various purification techniques and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience of instruments in operation of different makes.
- Strong understanding of different column chemistries used in prep HPLC operations for NCE molecules.
- Accountable for troubleshooting and ensuring the proper calibration and maintenance of instruments.
- Capable of working collaboratively and leading a team of enthusiastic young scientists.
- Willingness to lead and manage the team across different shifts as required.
Desired skills & experience:
- 7+ years of analytical experience working in CRO industry
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people in other departments.
- Have a good understanding of NMR/HPLC/LCMS/SFC analysis and characterisation techniques
- Creative thinking to spot new techniques and growth opportunities
- Be highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to work in a team in a transparent and entrepreneurial culture
- Work collaboratively with others and be able to adapt to various work assignments.
- Self-motivated with initiative to reach challenging targets
- Must be able to prioritize and organize work responsibilities in order to meet deadlines.
- Must possess a great deal of integrity to maintain confidentiality.
- Curiosity, energy, creativity, and bravery with a strong desire to help to build the o2h culture.
- Fluent oral and written (English) communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Positivity, focus and a winning mentality allied with kindness
