Senior NLP Scientist – Healthcare Domain (5+ years of experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior NLP Scientist with a strong background in natural language processing, deep learning, and hybrid AI methods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems in the healthcare domain, particularly in extracting meaningful insights from medical charts and clinical data.

BUDGET- 65,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement NLP solutions using hybrid approaches combining knowledge bases, symbolic AI, and large language models.
• Develop and optimize deep learning models using Python, PyTorch, and Transformer-based architectures.
• Extract structured information from unstructured medical texts, including clinical notes and charts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP solutions into healthcare applications.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in NLP and healthcare AI.

Required Qualifications:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills”

Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in NLP and machine learning.

Proven expertise in hybrid NLP methods involving symbolic AI and large language models.

Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

Experience with Transformer models and NLP libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers).

Familiarity with medical terminologies and clinical data formats.
