Senior Research Fellowship

Job Description

There is a potential opportunity for a Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) position in an industry project tenable for 3 years. Candidates with master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or related fields, qualified with NET or GATE Examination or equivalent national-level fellowship examination qualification, are encouraged to send their CV to rkyadav@nii.ac.in
The study involves CRISPR-Cas9-mediated gene editing, functional validation (e.g., enzymatic assays, Western blotting), and analysis of glycosylation pathways in tumour biology. The candidates with experience in the following techniques are encouraged to apply:
Molecular Biology: Experience with PCR, DNA extraction, and cloning techniques. Familiarity with CRISPR/Cas9 or other gene editing tools is beneficial.
Cell Culture: Experience with mammalian cell culture and transfection techniques (e.g., electroporation). Familiarity with Flow Cytometry is beneficial.
Bioinformatics: Basic understanding of bioinformatics tools for data analysis.
