Job Description

We are hiring for up to 3 postdoctoral fellow positions PearsonLab. Start dates range from July 1, 2025 – January 1, 2026 (or later). Reach out if you have any questions. University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

(1)   Translational Immunology Fellow – This fellow will lead a project focused on developing nanoparticle-based immunotherapies for the treatment of polymicrobial sepsis.

(2)   En Route Care Fellow – This fellow will lead the development of an immunomodulatory hydrogel system with embedded nanoparticles to enhance wound healing and prevent polymicrobial wound infections (e.g. Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus).

(3)   Polymer Chemistry and Drug Delivery Fellow – This fellow will focus on the design, synthesis, and characterization of novel polymers for immunomodulatory applications, including the formulation of nanoparticles for targeted delivery.
